Salaam Farrah I’m actually watching this in July lol but I have been questioning Islam a lot I am a revert I took shahada in October this video just made me realize that the reason I find it hard to want to return to praying and practicing is that I was trying to be an island and practice alone without including Allah the way I should thank you for this video really it has motivated me to put more effort in to my relationship with Allah swt

At the end it's all about believing in qadar and in one of the most beautiful name of Allah : Al razzaq (THE provider). If you truly believe, with your heart and not only with your brain, that you have been created for a purpose, and so THE provider has given you the keys to achieve this purpose (external confidence determining internal confidence), you will walk with all due respect to yourself because you knwo that "what is meant for you will find you" and "they have what they have for a reason, so I have". At this point, the paradigm changes and your vision of life too.

We are asked to clean ourselves even if our body naturally gets dirty in plenty of manners...... who is telling you, you cant beautify your body, workout, make sure your skin is healthy ? Dont mistaken me im not asking you to put makeup for viewers, makeup is for attraction..... but there are a million ways you can look more ”beautiful” not necessarily more ”attractive” or ”sexualised” ..... more than that.... when you will have to be married, youll have to be 100% acting ”attractive”, so makeup and clever clothes managing will be your daily routine....... lets be honest..... having a channel where its principle is that you make fun of yourself rather then crying about it because ”you” think you are average.... is couragous, positive, and as we see, very successeful masha Allah...... but just dont live there.... you are more than the joker you wanna portray of yourself

with all due respect , you have to be pretty(both men and women) people judge you based on your looks halo effect is a natural and a biological thing and we can't deny and be delusional about it, and we should not call people shallow for being influenced by that effect being good looking is a sign of good health and better genetic for the offspring , and blaming it on the culture and beauty standards is the biggest form of lack of accountability and it's not people's fault , humans in general are social creatures and grave other humans approval by being "politically right" + we don't want to face such harsh reality that can literally change the whole prospective of life , the best example is our prophet Youssef AlayhiSalam .

You know what I think I really needed this video I am trying my best to not care about appearance but I could not the way I view myself ruin me I'm becoming more and more insecure and it's affecting me and the way I treat my loved ones because of how anger I'm accumulating from not liking my physical appearance

Actually I'm crazy about Chinese drama ost, I'm not Chinese and can't understand Chinese well but I used to love sweet songs hidden love drama ost, our secret drama ost, put my head on my shoulder drama ost etc. But music is Haram in Islam and it takes me always in different zone and in a Muslim heart Quran and music can't stay together so for the sake of Allah love I have been decided to stop music and I'm struggling May Allah help me

Subhan’Allah thank you Farah for speaking about this. Jazakallah. I can’t quite put it into words like you but I’ve always felt this way. Whenever I have the thought about trying to look prettier the counterthought to it is always “but why?” Will it make me more worthy? Will it make me happier? Not at all. I’m at peace with myself and this is actually ruing that peace.
